All mediums are welcome and we have plenty of easels for people.

Austin Visual Arts Association annual juried Members Show at Studio 2 Gallery located at 1700 South Lamar, Suite 318.  Through August 7, 2010.

The 2nd of 4 in our first _Long Form_ session will happen tonight. This pose
is 3 hours and will sit from _6:30 – 9:30_. We had about 6 people last week
and it was an excellent evening with lots of painting and drawing. Our new
model is awesome and I’m looking forward to getting back in there tonight
and continuing work on the painting.

Ian Shultz has a figurative show up at  Wally Workman right now until July
31. I don’t know Ian personally but I think he’s a great local painter and

Well hey hey! Tonight’s the night we kick off our new long form session with Michelle who will be modeling for us for 4 straight sessions. Pack up your paints and come on down if you can. It should be great.

Again, it will be 8$ at the door and 25$ for a four series pass purchasable online and through J at the short form session on Wednesdays.

Tomorrow night it looks like we will have Kelli Bland if we can track her down on her latest expedition to the high mountains of Tibet and confirm. If all goes well she shoudl be coming down the mountain to model for us tomorrow night for the drawing session.
